Welcome back to our prep families this year and a big welcome to our new kindy families. Our year has gotten off to a terrific start and all students have settled back in to routine well.Prep
This week the prep students have been learning about the letter and sound T, we have practiced saying the sound, singing a song about tennis, writing the letter and creating a turtle.
In maths we have been learning about how we can sort objects into different groups. We have learnt how to sort into colours, objects, purpose and feel. Everyday we practice our counting together and love to sing the song 5 little ducks.
Kindy
Our kindy students have been having a wonderful time exploring their new school, getting to know each other and learning lots of new things. Our favourite thing to do at kindy has been playing with the playdough. We love to roll it out and use the cookie cutters to cut out different shapes.
We also love to play dress ups in home corner. The kindy students have been busy pretending to make tea, coffee and cake for Miss Struss and Miss Robin at their café.
