Hello again. It's Week 4 already and we're well into the swing of things!
With lots of learning happening in our classrooms, it's important that it is supported at home, both in terms of study skills (see below) and in ensuring our students and families know what important academic events are coming up.
As with every term, Student Course Planners will be sent home in the next few days. The planner will show the due dates for all of the assessments for each subject students undertake in their respective year levels. The purpose of the planner is firstly, to inform families of what their children are learning in the term, the type of assessment task and their respective due dates in each subject for each year level. Secondly, the planner can be used to assist families with older students in managing their time to ensure completed to the best of one's ability. Student Course Planners also provide information to families about the units of work their children will be exposed to over the term. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about what your child is learning, please direct them to the classroom teacher who will be happy to help.
Yours in learning
