School curriculum

At Aramac State School, the curriculum provided to children is the Australian Curriculum.  This sets out what all students should learn as they move through their schooling from Prep to Year 10, regardless of where they live and whichever school they attend.

Download The Australian Curriculum: an overview for parents (PDF, 1481KB) to learn about how the Australian Curriculum is organised, including information about the learning areas, general capabilities and cross-curriculum priorities.

Download the documents below to learn about each learning area of the Australian Curriculum at each stage of schooling.

For further information about the Australian Curriculum, please visit the Australian Curriculum website.

Ways to support your child's learning

The people who have the most influence on children are parents, families and carers. When these people are actively involved in their children's education, children usually enjoy school and achieve better results.

Please find below suggestions for families and carers about how to support their child's learning.
