In Junior Secondary, we aim to strengthen the learning foundations with high expectations for reading, writing and numeracy. Our intention is to prepare your child for the best pathway into Senior Secondary learning and beyond.
To make this transition a meaningful process, we allow year 7 students a taster of all eight learning areas, with more specialised subject selection in years 8-10.
With the goal in mind for students to transition into year 11 with banked QCE points, we offer a Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways & Certificate II in Kitchen Operations through the Big Red Truck.
Junior Secondary Camps
Aramac State School offers yearly high school camp to expose students to opportunities they miss living out in the bush. The camps occur over a 4-year cycle.
