Aramac State School also offers an approved State Delivered Kindergarten Program integrated into our multi-age early years classroom (K – 2). Kindergarten is a structured, play-based program led by a university qualified teach for children in the year before they attend formal schooling.
The program which runs for at least 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per calendar year, focuses on helping children to develop a wide range of essential skills and prepares them for their transition to school. Currently we run a 5 day fortnight program, from 9am – 3pm. As Aramac State School is a western school and only completes a 9 week term in Term 4, we make up these kindergarten days across Term 4.
